Melvin “Mel” Miller is an American songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. He is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sipp Soul Entertainment, LLC. Melvin is the owner of MEG Global a Technical and Media Firm as well. His music roots date back to the early 80s when his father had a collection of hundreds of records that were played daily throughout his home. Every room had a stereo or a record player.
Melvin’s love for music lead to him joining the drumline in fifth grade and playing the snare drum in his middle school band in the eighth grade. Mel started writing songs in sixth grade and often participated In school shows and contest, winning majority of the contest with his rhyming skills. Leading to him rapping the school announcements and a song he wrote about the book “Let the Circle be unbroken” over the intercom for the entire school. During, high school Melvin produced tracks and ghost wrote for local artist throughout the Memphis, Tennessee and northern Mississippi area; Even promoting parties with known party promoters in Memphis, Tennessee. Mel’s other love was sports where he played competitive sports from pee-wee until his freshman year of college, were he decided to focus on his education and put his dreams of being a professional athlete on hold.
Melvin holds degrees/certifications from Tennessee State University, Bethel University, and Cornell University. During college Melvin continued writing and producing music. Joining force with other musicians on campus and releasing two mixtapes that received great reviews throughout campus and the metro Nashville area. After college, Melvin begin working as a computer engineer, concert promoter, and worked with labels on artist's branding.

Melvin has recently written songs for numerous artist including A. Johnz and Synergy; with production on a recent track featuring Boosie Badazz. Mel is currently a member of ISSA and Global Songrwriters Connection.
